Your membership in the Friends contributes to your local community and supports your local library. It also gives you the chance to meet with others of similar interests, use some of your skills for special projects, and just feel good about being needed!

The River Friends of the Library is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The River Friends work with the community to promote the Guerneville Regional Library to enhance its resources and services, pursue avenues for fundraising efforts to enhance the level of service currently available and provide and support programs designated by the library staff encouraging use of the Library’s services and facilities. We value libraries in our society and the particular value of the Guerneville Regional Library for our West Sonoma County Communities. The Guerneville Regional Library includes the Guerneville branch as well as the Forestville and Occidental branches.
